The Women Development Cell of St. Xavier’s Arts And Science College started with a webinar. The Department of Women and Child development conducted a “gender awareness program “ for the women of our college as a part of their program ‘kanal’ with district women and child development office, Mahila shakthi Kendra ,Kozhikode on 06 th November 2021 through Google Meet.by resource person Smt. Zilzila Kaladi (social worker)
HASHTAG CAMPAIGN- PROHIBITION OF DOWRY HELD ON 28/11/21
Conducted a “#HASHTAG CAMPAIGN related with the topic” – PROHIBITION OF DOWRY” among our students to create awareness about the problems related with dowry system prevailing in our society.27/11/21 & 28/11/21 were the two days provided to create and share the hashtag. The students participated and provided their valuable ideas through the hashtag.
SEMINR ON THE TOPIC- BREAK THE BIAS OF GENDER DISCRIMINATION FOR A SUSTAINABLE TOMORROW.
seminar conducted in collaboration with IAM Calicut and WCD ,sakhi one stop centre govt. of Kerala on 04/03/22the seminar have conducted on the basis of international womens day and impart awareness about break the bias of gender discrimination for a sustainable tomorrow. The session was addressed by the resource person Smt. Athira T.K(Psychologist) She enlightened our students by providing all kinds of awareness about gender discrimination prevailing in our society.
